Look what Gayla found

Gayla was picking grapes and found this nice little guy (or actually it’s a female) on the side of our house by the grape arbor
She came and started hitting me after that. I’m not sure what the deal is. Cat spiders are harmless, but you better watch out if Gayla sees one!

Can you compare the size of this spider to something? (Like a quarter or a canning lid.)

I had to hold the camera up past some grape vines above head height (that’s why it’s sorta blurry), so I probably couldn’t take a good one with a quarter by it but it’s about the size of a quarter.
