Lots of Rocks

May 21st, 2006

For the past couple weeks we’ve been hauling rocks off of our property. We’d have never been able to make any progress on it at all if we hadn’t first had a bobcat push 2 or 3 inches of rocks and dirt off the top. Here is a picture of what we’ve cleared by the property next to us:

Less Rocks

I was looking for my hat the other day so I could go back in the sun. It wasn’t where I left it and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Then I glanced out the window and figured out where it went.

It’s a good thing I’ve got a few little boys to help me do jobs. Actually, they are still pretty little and get tired of the real work pretty quickly. They’ve had no end of working their little tractors and dump trucks in the flower bed (without any vegetation yet of course) though.

Gayla has been a good help too. She raked rocks into piles so I could shovel them up faster. That’s pretty good for someone 5 months pregnant and with 3 high maintenance boys running around.
