Family Portrait
May 6th, 2007
Well, when it rains it pours. This week I got some sort of cold sore. Then, I got some sort of ingrown hair or something on the left of my chin. I also got a zit that decided to get big and red on my cheek. Last but not least, I whacked myself in the head with an extension cord.
Ok, that last part needs a little explaining. I was winding up the extension cord. We have one of those extension cord holders that helps you roll the cord up and keeps it all organized until the next time you need it. Earlier, I had pulled the opposite end out a bit because the plugin I was using was up higher and it didn’t reach. The effect was that I had one end of the cord being rolled up and the other end flying around in a circle. Somehow I didn’t notice that long enough for it to fly around at extension cord speed and hit me square in the middle of my forehead. I stood there stunned for a second wondering what just happened. Then it started to bleed. Anyhow, that was the largest mark on my head.
Well, we took family portrait today after church. All I can say is that I love Paint Shop Pro

My Goodness! It’s amazing to me that you just took that picture, and we get to look at it already. What a good looking group! I’m going to print a copy and send it to Grandma Helsel. She will love this one!!! I do!!!

I think you guys have the cutest kids that I have ever seen in one family, and you even got them all to smile. You two aren’t too bad looking yourselves
