Funny Sunday

I just had to write this down. Here is what happened today at church.
1) Dallin’s 1st tooth came out. I sent him to swish some water at the drinking fountain.
2) I got released from being the Webelos Leader. I was surprised. Nobody told me about it.
3) The bishop pulled over the counselor and talked in his ear for 30 seconds or so.
4) I got unreleased from being the Webelos Leader.
5) The counselor did some other releasings and then said the High Counselor had some business.
6) The high counselor got up and said the our ward counselor already released the person he was there to release so he didn’t have anything else.
7) We had a baby blessing. The baby spit up all over his dad on the way to the front. Everyone laughed. He took his coat jacket off.
I think after those things, church was more normal but we sure got off to a funny start today.

My favorite is when they tell you that they are going to release you and call you to something just before sacrament starts, then they don’t and you have to sit all through sacrament waiting to hear why. They then tell you to “hold on for a bit, there may be something else in the works.”
